Help from THINKERS

Dear Readers of Lindseyslifeisaverage:
I have an English "Observation Paper" that I have to write and I'm coming up blank to think of things that I have observed to write about! So, if you have any ideas or anything to help please COMMENT below. The paper is supposed to be based on an observation that can connect to my world, our world, the world. It's pretty vague so that's why I'm having such a hard time being CREATIVE. HELP HELP HELP HELP.

And that was Lindsey's thought of the day, where Lindsey shares an Everyday Thought.

The Headline should be: "Can You Believe This Guy Actually Proposed We Spend More Money?"

"When I was a boy I was told that anybody could become President; I'm beginning to believe it." ~Clarence Darrow
Last night, president Obama gave a speech to Congress about the current drastic unemployment rate and his new idea to "give people jobs." President Obama says that this new bill will "only cost $450 billion dollars. It will give temporary jobs to people, help promote better education and whatnot, improve the roads and etc. He's once again promising all of these different proposals that, in the end, he probably won't be able to fulfill.

Here are some of the thoughts running through my head during his speech:
1. This speech wouldn't be necessary if his economis policies had succeeded.
2. This is unreal, hes scolding congress for spending.
3. GOP thoughts in the chamber "Would you buy a used car from this man?"
4."Tax increases at the worst possible time" -yea right before an election.
5. Yes obama, we are ready for you to be gone so Americans can get to work
6. I am amused to see so many Democrats jumping up to applaud gop base lines.
7. Obama is the ring leader for his so called "political circus"

Also, I have a theory about what happened. Remember when Obama was wanting to make this big Jobs Speech on the same day as the GOP debate? Well, all this Jobs Bill proposal bill is just election campaigning. He first wanted to take all the attention off the Republicans debate and make all the Americans focus on his stupid speech. Also, why couldn't he have waited a few weeks after he ACTUALLY had a plan and a proposal to the American public about how he was going to plan on paying for this bill. He continually was urging congress to "Vote for this bill right now" when he hadn't even told them how he was proposing to pay for it, other than saying, "This bill will be entirely paid for." President Obama, people can't vote on things unless they know what the plan of action will be to implement the policy and pay for it. That's your biggest flaw.

What bothers me, is that he's waiting two and a half years after he is elected president to finally propose something to help give jobs back to the people. However, I know that this new bill will not work. It's weird, he's just now proposing this bill, if only he had been president for two and a half years before this to address this before now...Oh wait. And he had a mostly democratic congress to help him, he probably could have had proposed this a long time ago. But that's typical Obama for you.

What he should have been focusing on, from the start, is three things. First he should have focused on getting Americans jobs, second he should have focused on regulating the economy, and thirdly he should have focused on stopping government spending.

Why does he think that it takes spending BILLIONS AND BILLIONS of dollars of American's tax money on stupid bills that never will work, that in the end only cause American's stress and cause us to go into deeper debt with China. Spending money is not the way to fix all of America's problems.

Now, I do agree with one thing that he said in last night's speech. He said that he wants to have more things made in America, less things made in China and overseas. I agree that stopping going over seas to get products that we can make right here in America will help give Americans jobs and help decrease our dependence on the other countries. We are like slaves to China now because we owe them so much money. We need to focus on paying off our debt and getting Americans jobs. No more spending, Obama.

It's a good idea in theory, however, the jobs that the government will provide will not last more than a few years. They're impractical. Yes, giving jobs to be constructors, fixing the roads, and building things will put many people in work for a few years, but what happens after those few years are over? The American workers will be out of a job once again and the unemployment rate will be drastically skyrocketing.

Something funny I saw on Twitter from a Republican Tweeter said, "I wonder what all the people are thinking "Would I buy a used car from this man?" Probably not, because almost everything Obama says is a lie that he will never be able to uphold.

As you can tell, I'm very anti-Obama. He makes me mad, simply stated. Sorry for the organizational of this post but I just had to get my thoughts out there about the speech right after it happened.

We will never forget.
Also, something in the news as of yesterday, is that U.S. officials are chasing a lead about a "credible but unconfirmed terror threat." This year will be the 10th year anniversary of  the 9/11 Terror Attack by Al Quaida. The U.S. government is saying that they discovered, after killing Osama Bin Laden, in his house papers indicating about important dates that Al Quaida was planning another attack. The 10th anneversary of 9/11 was on the list. This is causing mass hysteria of many Americans. The threats are said to be for somewhere in New York City and Washington DC. Please, all of you be safe on 9/11 and I would advise not flying on those days...just because.

Be safe. God bless.
